| THERE’S A “HAM” IN THE OVEN Or should we say, “Charles and DANish Ham”? Either way, we are proud to announce that Dana is pregnant! We started suspecting it about a week ago due to some common signs she was exhibiting. She took a test only 2 days ago to confirm it. We are very excited and looking forward to the awesome responsibility of raising up our own children. We estimate the baby’s arrival around March 1st of next year. SINGING IN HINDI As I continue to study the Hindi language, I have also been learning several worship songs in Hindi. I have been implementing these songs into my worship leading quite well, according to the Hindi-speaking congregations. Many have even expressed amazement with the accuracy of my accent. This is a miracle in light of my heavy Texas accent. So praise the Lord! Or as we say in Hindi, “Prabhu stuti karna!” KARAD/PUNE STUDENTS We have been very busy these last few weeks working with some students from the Karad and Pune areas. They have come to receive 5 weeks of intense Bible school training so they can go back and do the work of the Ministry in their villages and surrounding areas. Dana and I have been teaching guitar and drama/dance classes and assisting with different kinds of needs of the students. We consider it quite an honor to serve some of India’s spiritual leaders of tomorrow. ORPHANGE In the last month we’ve made a few trips to the orphanage we help support. God has recently provided a much nicer facility and a badly needed refrigerator. Four more children have been added to the 26 already being cared for. While these children’s basic needs are being met, there is a lot of room for improvements. A portion of our financial support is already going towards these children. But if you would like to designate anything specifically or would like to see more information and pictures, please e-mail me and I will gladly to assist you in this. OUTLYING VILLAGES We have also traveled and ministered in several remote villages in the Karad area. Many of these people eagerly awaited our arrival when they heard ‘the foreigners’ were coming. We were able to teach and pray for these people during our visit. They were encouraged that we had literally come from the other side of the world to visit them and to discover that there are many believers in America that are very much concerned about them. They pleaded with us to return soon, and, as the Lord wills, we plan to. PRAYER REQUESTS As the Lord moves on your hearts, please pray for us: 1) For wisdom and revelation of God’s perfect will in our lives. 2) For a smooth pregnancy and that our child will be healthy and properly developed. 3) Favor with those in authority in areas that pertain to our work here in India. 4) God’s hand of protection over our spirits, souls, and bodies. 5) That our minds will be able to quickly and effectively grasp the Hindi language. 6) Finances to do the work of the ministry.
