| For the last several years friends and family have urged me to write a cookbook. I have decided that I would include some stories from our missions experience as well. For me they all go hand and hand. It is my opinion that the simplest way to tour the world is to try new dishes from varying countries. This cookbook may not be the best tool in sampling pure Indian or Mexican dishes. I am afraid I tend to stray from local custom. I always manage to put a slight twist on things and create a combination of flavors, incorporating a little of both cultures in what I call a ?fusion dish?. My kitchen is my Studio. My food is my art. I consider food to be the only art form that truly nourishes. I hope to introduce you to new tastes that will nourish your body and stories to nourish your soul. |
